The primary presidency and teachers wanted the children to get a feeling for what the pioneers did to maintain their religious freedom. Everyone had fun rotating through booths of soap making, carving, butter making, rubber band gun shooting, log sawing, gold panning, stick pulling, and milking a cow. In the upper left picture Bishop Sroufe is riding the the Ship Brooklyn! Pioneer food was enjoyed by all. Kevin Stewart shared a message about pioneers and how we can keep the faith like they did by remaining faithful and doing their work in the temple.
